There are benefits and drawbacks to both the US and UK healthcare systems. No health system is flawless. A few more drawbacks that require attention are public policy, spending, social and economic circumstances, environmental and societal issues, human behavior, and healthcare costs.  Developing strategic cross-sector relationships, knowing more about your stakeholders, cultivating a culture of stewardship, and gauging success using relevant metrics of community health and well-being are all easy ways to address the inadequacies.

As a result, while both the US and the UK have publicly funded, multi-payer health care systems, they also each have unique advantages and difficulties. The UK health system demonstrates its commitment to the principle that everyone has the right to health care by offering its services to all. The contrast between economic interests and the need for universal access to healthcare is exemplified by the state of the healthcare system. It’s critical to comprehend these differences in order to appreciate the continuous goal of providing high-quality, conveniently located, and reasonably priced healthcare.
