After the changes done by the NMC, level 6.5 will be accepted in writing, however level 7 in reading, listening, and speaking along with overall level 7 will be the minimum requirement.
Before this proposal, there was a requirement of level 7 in reading, writing, listening, and speaking along with overall level 7. This proposal has brought relief to the candidates as many of the candidates, despite being able to communicate properly in English were just missing out on achieving a level 7 in writing.
